My Dad is my Mums full time Carer who sadly is end of life care.
Dad recently fell and broke his hip. He is 91 and great for his age. He was admitted to A and E and then transferred to Trauma 2 Ward. He had surgery which went well. The care that he has received is outstanding, as when I have rung up nothing is too much effort, especially when I have spoken to them about how Mum is. The work load they have under normal circumstances is manic but with COVID they are all doing a wonderful job and can’t thank them enough.
Dad was transferred to St Michael’s at Hayle and settled in well for the rest of his recovery. He faced timed me today with the help of one of the nurses, so kind. I have become Mums full time Carer, however with the help of the district nurses have sorted out Marie Curie to do over night sits on some evenings so I can get some rest. Well done Treliske as always outstanding care.
