"Problems with my health centre"

About: General practices in Forth Valley

(as the patient),

Since being allocated to my health centre I have had nothing but problems in gaining appointments, having health issues resolved and with rude staff. Granted I have missed appointments however this is due to either a change in my mobile number or because I have forgotten due to fatigue. A symptom which has been explained to the practitioners with no attempt to resolve or explain to me why this is. I have also been waiting over a year for another condition to be resolved, that I had my gallbladder taken out for when it appears this may not have been the problem. I still have ongoing knee pain that I refuse to go back and talk about because they were doing nothing to resolve it other than telling me to wait.

Attempting to get help became pointless. It’s now September and I’ve been waiting since March/April. I have been trying for some time to get in contact with the practice manager to no avail. More recently my asthma has flared up and I contacted them due to an inability to breathe properly to be told I couldn’t be seen for days and there were no doctors in the practice to speak to me. Due to this I became frustrated and said one thing that probably did come across as abusive before hanging up, however I am at my wits end. I have now received a letter claiming I am always abusive when I am generally nothing but polite during appointments. Other than explaining I don’t feel enough is being done, only to be shut down. However due to this I am being removed. No previous warning and no attempt to resolve the issues at hand. I have sent in a letter outlining the above however feel this practice and issues need looked into further. I am deeply frustrated and am normally crying when I’m on the phone to them because of the lack of care and length of time I’ve been in pain with various things.
