Today I had an appointment for my son's 1 year vaccinations. We are usually patients at Nethertown Surgery but when we booked the appointment with the vaccination team, we were told it would be at Linburn Surgery due to changes in working with Covid-19. I popped the date and time in my diary. Today we arrived at Linburn at the time arranged but we were told our name wasnt in the diary for the expected time, but the nurse told us not to worry we would be seen. Another patient who was booked in for the same time as our slot, was taken in and we waited in the surgery for around 20 mins. Felt very comfortable waiting in Linburn re. social distancing, hand gel provided etc. We were then called in to the room where the nurse (Lauren?) explained we didn't seem to be on that list at all that day but she explained it wasn't a problem at all and that this has happened a couple of times due to the systems. It was great not to be turned away because we weren't showing up on the list and I am assuming she slotted us in between other patients which was greatly appreciated. She didn't rush our appointment or anything as a result of us being squeezed in. So I just wanted to say thank you for taking the time to do that.
