"Patient health"

About: Heywood Health

I've been self isolating as per Government and Surgery advice.

I've severe pulmonary emphysema.

I've only been to the Surgery once during these unprecedented times.

I advised the doctor, that I would be unable to attend the Surgery again due to my emphysema (severe breathing difficulties even with oxygen) I received a text on Wednesday advising me to attend the practice the following morning for my flu jab. Rang the Surgery explaining my circumstances, only to be told I'm not on the house bound list. I would therefore have to attend the Surgery. I asked can I talk to a doctor, answer no, can I talk to the nurse, answer no. Eventually I was put on the house bound list.

The point I'm trying to make, is no one is checking on patient information. With regards who is being put on the house bound list.

And unfortunately for me. I've the unenviable task of phoning the Surgery asking why I'm not on the house bound list, which in turn makes me out to be someone who is complaining.

Someone at the Surgery has been given the task of making a list, and unfortunately it seems their making shortcuts to lessen their work load.
