"Physio Telephone Assessment"

About: NHS Tayside Outpatient Physiotherapy First Contact Clinic

(as a service user),

Having injured my ankle, I was amazed that in current times I was able to have access to a physio within the week. I was so glad that I called the GP practice. I was wary of how helpful a telephone appointment would be but physiotherapist (Gail) was able to assess the injury, diagnose and come up with a really comprehensive treatment plan. I found her to be really knowledgeable and feel I have a much better understanding of the injury. I also had exercises emailed to me and a time frame in which to expect to achieve things. Really felt that the level of service delivered was much greater than my expectations and would recommend to anyone to access the service when they need it.

Dear Ally - this is fantastic to hear - if you don't mind would you help us give this feedback to the physio by telling us what service you used e.g. was it Angus, Dundee or Perth and Kinross?

We will then ensure that this practitioner receives this feedback and that it's shared with others so we can all learn from what has clearly been a helpful response.

I do hope your ankle gets better soon and you are not in pain for too much longer

Warm regards

Debbie Baldie
