"Professional and sensitive care at its best"

I got a scary surprise when I was called from Guys hospital in London to make an appointment to discuss my recent smear test result.

I was sick with worry but the speed at which the team at The McNair (Gynaecology) Centre at Guys worked made a real difference. I was seen by Emma (Nurse Colpospcopist) and although I thought I’d have to wait a week for results but she called me the next day as soon as she got favourable CIN3 lab results to set my mind at ease. This made an enormous difference and left me with the enduring feeling that I was being treated by a skilful, sensitive and joined-up team of professionals. I had a subsequent procedure which was also really well managed and done. 

I want to pass on my experience so that others can feel confident at The McNair Centre too.
