"Feedback for Physiotherapy"

About: Highbury Hospital / AHP Inpatient Highbury (Maples)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

I greatly appreciate my sessions with Sadie, and as I recovered I looked forward to, and thoroughly enjoyed, my weekly sessions in the gym.

I was impressed with the way Sadie worked with me.  She tailored exercises to my needs and abilities, and kept careful records of my progress (or lack of progress!)  She also took pains to explain to me how particular exercises were designed to help with specific everyday activities.  I found it helpful to know why a particular exercise was important.

After discharge, I now feel motivated to do the exercises she gave me to do at home, and in due course (after Covid) I hope to join a balance and strengthening local group.

On a personal level I liked Sadie a lot.  She has an open and warm personality which made it very easy to get along with her.

Thank you for taking the time to submit your comments. The Maples Integrated Therapy team at Highbury Hospital really appreciate the fact that you found the physiotherapy treatment you received beneficial. Sadie is a well liked and much valued member of both the adult and older peoples services. It is great to hear that you feel motivated to carry on the good work started during your in-patient stay. We all wish you the very best for your ongoing recovery.
