"Grateful for the help I received"

About: North Devon District Hospital / Cancer Services North Devon District Hospital / Rheumatology

(as a service user),

I was referred to the Haematology Department as my bloods were out of order. I had an appointment very quickly and everyone was so kind and caring from the staff on the desk to the consultant I saw. Everything was explained to me in full and what they needed to do and why it was needed.

After having many blood tests that day I was told that my bloods had begun to right themselves and the need for a bone marrow biopsy may not be needed. I have a phone conversation with the consultant again on Friday and if my bloods are still going up I will not need the biopsy.

Everyone was so helpful and kind, I was quite nervous but everyone was so reassuring and kind that my fears were put to rest. I am so grateful for all the help I have received and can't think of anything that could have been better. Thank you everyone for all your help.
