My 9yr old daughter had been sick for 4days, actively vomiting. She was extremely lethargic. I brought her to A&E...within 10 minutes she was in triage, within 20 she was being seen by a doctor! Within the hour she had a canula in and was receiving fluids.
The team were AMAZING! I was blown away.
We were admitted to the acorn ward where the staff were just as amazing. The care from everyone was above and beyond what they need to be doing.
Due to covid cups of tea were being made for parents by nurses, the extra precautions were astounding.
What an incredible place.
