"Excellent operation experience"

This is a very overdue thank NHS Forth Valley for how quickly an operation was organised for me in response to an abscess during the earlier part of the year, and for how brilliantly the operation was performed and staff care throughout. I particularly want to thank Dr Sewnauth and her team for their extensive time in helping me understand what the possible outcomes of my operation might be; I asked loads (I really mean loads) of questions as I became aware that the procedure might not be as straightforward as I was expecting, and they took the time to carefully describe and explain the options, two or three times as I tried to get my head around them. In the event, the operation went very well, there were no lurking monsters, and 6 weeks on I am fully recovered, with truly minimal scarring and am running every day again. I also want to thank Dr Moneypenny and his team, especially the nurse who supported me as I went under anaesthetic. I was pretty anxious at this point as I realised there might be a graver outcome, and her gentleness, warmth and humanity were exceptional. I am sure that this lovely team feel this is their job and its part of their personality but goodness me, what a different it makes to patients like me.   Thank you.
