I had a sudden serious stomach bleed on 29/8. Ambulance service arrived within minutes and I was in A&E within 20 minutes. Immediate care was given and I was in Keats Ward that evening. Close care and attention followed in the next 2 days and I had endoscopy surgery on Tuesday 1 September. I was allowed home on the following day. The above summary of events simply outlines the efficiency of the whole exercise. Within that, I must demonstrate my gratitude for the high standard of performance in all departments. At every level there was professionalism allied to care, kindness, understanding, some humour, and overall reassurance. Despite the degree of activity that was obvious there was a calm, caring attitude displayed which I found admirable. I could not have been in better hands and a thank you is barely enough.
Gratefully yours,
George Jobe.
"Wonderful service"
