"Cataract operation"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Ophthalmology

(as the patient),

I was operated on at Nuffield  Hospital Taunton . The arrangements to prevent the spread of Covid 19 was extensive and I was at complete ease with the system.

I was treated with courtesy by everyone including being addressed by my first name throughout by the staff and kept informed of all that was happening. During the actual operation, I was again informed of what was happening and the surgeon kept up a running commentary as he proceeded. I was completely at ease at all times and can do nothing but give praise to ALL the staff. Thank you for making what could have been stressful an enjoyable experience.

Dear Happy Hearer

Thank you for taking the time to share your experience. To read that an operation was an enjoyable experience really is quite something! I have passed your comments on to the Ophthalmology team. I hope you are recovering well.

Take care.

Regards
