Visiting the hospital for procedures in this COVID time is a scary time for some if us. I attended for a heart stress test on the nuclear medicine dept. I was so stressed out worrying about the test as I didn't want to relive my previous traumatic heart attack or cardiac arrest. The staff were amazing, one in particular who explained absolutely everything and totally reassured me through my tears. She really is worth her weight in gold. I was looked after by 4 wonderful ladies in all. All these 'angels' do not get the recognition or the salary they deserve. Medway hospital often gets slated but they really did save my life when I had a full Monty heart attack and cardiac arrest, CPR and 3 lots of shocks complete with broken ribs. I couldn't even thank the staff properly as they were agency staff and I wasn't allowed names due to data protection. Carry on the great work you do. Thank you.
