"Exemplary care throughout"

About: St Mary's Hospital

I can highly recommend St Mary’s and Ward 62 for anyone choosing where to have a prolapse repair. From the initial consultation to the operation and aftercare I was totally informed and involved in the process . All staff were professional, knowledgeable , approachable and caring .

I do not live locally to this hospital and made a choice of consultant and care myself under NHS choices . It was the best decision I made . Thank you so much to everyone involved in my care

Thank you for your positive comments posted on the NHS Choices / Patient Opinion website regarding your care on Ward 62 at Saint Mary’s Hospital. It was very kind of you to take the time to write and compliment the staff as it is good to receive positive feedback which reflects the hard work and dedication of our staff.

The Trust has introduced a Behavioural framework called ‘Together Care Matters’ within which all members of the nursing and medical teams practice so it was reassuring to read that that you found everyone caring, professional but approachable and knowledgeable .

I can assure you that we have passed on your thoughts to Dr Rohna Kearney, Clinical Head of Division for Gynaecology and Mrs Cath Bartlett, Head of Nursing who will be pleased to share your feedback with Sister Laura Partington, Ward manager for Ward 62 and the extended team.

Mrs Karen Connolly

Chief Executive Officer Saint Mary’s Hospital Managed Clinical Service.
