About: University Hospital Wishaw / Gastroenterology / General Medicine (Ward 5)

(as a relative),

We would like to extend our heartfelt thanks to all staff but in particular to Donna who cared for our father in his final days. It was apparent within moments of meeting Donna that she has a true vocation for nursing and patient care. 

She was exceptionally caring and sensitive towards my mother and spent, although very busy, time with my mum on several occasions offering comfort and patience. 
My dad was able to pass very peacefully and we are thankful to all the staff who allowed our family to be present with him during these trying times in the NHS.
Thank you also to the consultant and Eleanor.

Dear Japanese wife

Thank you very much for getting in touch and for your comments in relation to the care and compassion your father received whilst an inpatient here in Ward 8 at University Hospital Wishaw. Please accept my sincere condolences to you and your family on the passing of your father.

Your positive comments are very welcome and I will ensure they are fed back to the staff in Ward 8, who work so hard in ensuring the care we deliver to patients is of a high standard, as well as being compassionate to the needs of our patients and their families. I will also ensure this is shared with those whom you have personally named. I have no doubt they will be delighted for the feedback.
