"Aftercare after bowel surgery"

About: Forth Valley Royal Hospital / General surgery

(as a service user),

I had bowel surgery on B11 Forth Valley Larbert. I became a bit ill 7 days after surgery & needed an NG aspiration to rid my body of litres of fluid. The staff are great but Nurse Nadine is exceptional in her care, reassurance & reliability. I was literally nursed back to health by this wonderful nurse who regularly aspirated the fluids till I was more comfy & better able to breath.

Dear Beebopalula

Thank you so much for the kind review and for taking the time to write on when you are recovering at home.

I am very proud of my nursing team, they all work exceptionally hard and try to maintain a very high standard of care for all. It is so nice to have some positive news in this time of the pandemic.

I will let the team know and especially Nurse Bell whom you mentioned.

Thank you once again and we wish you a speedy recovery.
