Attended the minor operations at NHS Forth Valley this morning. Had to get a small mole/abnormal freckle removed.

Was met by David who carried out my small operation and was assisted by Natasha. From start to finish they were both great and helped put me at ease. I don't like needles and struggle with injections but their calm and relaxed nature helped ease me through the small procedure. They had great chat and helped keep me distracted through the whole event.

Can’t thank them enough for their great team effort in making me feel comfortable during this minor operation. Thanks David and Natasha.

Thank you for taking the time to let us know of your experience on the day of your biopsy.

It is great you recognised the teamwork involved in making the appointment go smoothly, Natasha and I try to distract you from your concerns, while giving as much information as is important. Don't worry about not liking needles, to be honest I'd be more worried if you did like them:)

Another thing we try to remember is that it is only a minor operation if it is happening to someone else! It was, hopefully, the biggest operation you had that day.

All being well everything should be healing nicely by now, and we'll be in touch when the results arrive.
