"Difficulty in contacting district nurses"

About: CSH Surrey St Peter's Hospital / General surgery

(as a relative),

I have had difficulty contacting Runnymede district nurses to change/check my wife's hernia dressings. I have been ringing 03307260333, got no response for over 20 minutes, trying later, I was given yet another number 03003034737, left another message, and was told that my message would not be accessed until late afternoon

Thus a woman discharged last Friday, has still not had the wounds/stitches examined, or dressings changed, and as yet, Thursday morning, no contact .

One other point worth making, is that the web address suggested is quite long, it includes upper case, lower case, symbols, and when I used it, my message was returned as undeliverable. Bearing in mind that the age group trying to arrange a district nurse, is liable to be older than normal, why make the address so complicated??

Regards, husband  approaching melt down
