"Gastroscopy"

I had a referral because of serious indigestion and occasional vomiting when I arrived at the new facility's for a gastroscope   they were clean and greeted by friendly and professional nurses they asked if I was having sedation to witch I said yes the anaesthetist explained every thing I had the anaesthetic spray ( rotten banana ) then the sedation took effect straight away tingling in my lips after the mouth guard was fitted I don't remember a thing after that                 

When I came round they told me what they found and was given a report they even had the serial number of what equipment was used (may sound strange but If you ever have a outpatient hysteroscopy they don't know).

I then walked out and was driven home by my husband I felt slightly sick but was told that can be down to the gastr as much As the sedation I personally recommend sedation.       

I want to thank the nurses the anaesthetist and the dr      

I do however have 2 points of complaint 1 minor 1 serious. appointments were cancelled several times and could not be made more than a few day in advance but my husband needed 7 days notice and was luck to be on nights he could of got it of as emergency care for me but you had cancelled serial times

Now the serious point the Dr went on and on when my husband asked the nurse to close the blinds their reasoning of they would have to climb a tree is not good enough as people do hide cameras that way secondly and seriously when it was mention I wanted sedation the Dr went on for 5 mins how dangerous it was ( they were already late) and how ever one find it ok with out I have met 10 people not one found it acceptable but barbaric instead of calmly explaining there is a slight increase in danger I felt like they tried to bully me out of it acting rude and unprofessional  

What ants me this storie should of been very positive but deciding what was best for me has spoilt what could of been a very positive experience
