(as a service user),

I wanted to thank all the ladies on the midwifery led unit at CAH for offering my husband and I just a great service where we felt safe and supported.

I gave birth to my baby girl yesterday and the midwives couldn’t have been more helpful, professional and encouraging, to assist me in the labour and delivery, of My second child. Special thanks to Victoria the midwife who held my hand and coached me through delivering our baby girl into the world, safely. She was amazing, as was the sister in charge and the other midwives on the ward. Thank-you.

Firstly I would like to congratulate you on the birth of your beautiful baby daughter, thank you for taking the time to provide such lovely feedback for our services. As the Lead for Midwifery Led Unit I am delighted to hear that your recent time within our Unit was a such positive experience. It is reassuring for me as a manager to hear that you felt safe and supported under the care of our wonderful team, which is so important in these unprecedented times that we are facing with covid-19.

I will share your lovely comments to all the staff involved and I wish you and your family the very best in the future, once again thank you for your kind words.
