"You are my heroes"

I'd just like to say a huge thank you to everyone in ward B3, Dr Graham and the wonderful radiation team.

You are all an absolute credit to our NHS and to your families!!! 

I remember being so upset and emotional the first time I had a consultation at the Beatson, it's very daunting, it's scary, it's not normal. 

I also remember not wanting to leave on completion of my treatment. 

The care I received was outstanding, I felt safe, I felt important, I felt as though I was getting the best care and attention available. 

Here I am, sitting at home with my 6 year old daughter, my wife and my dog. Not quite out the woods but I'm low risk and I love the aftercare. All thanks to you all.

You are my heroes.
