(as a service user),

after a very serious R T A i spent a very long time in the spinal injuries unit  ( M P H )

Over 20 years i have had regular treatment from the district nurses in S T H and i have been very slow at expressing my thanks to them officially 

I have nothing but the highest of praise for them as they all seem to be very friendly & very caring especially after my experience while an in patient ( which was the very opposite sadly )

Perhaps its because they are in the patients house that they are more respectful & caring

I wish they are  recommend for some kind of award if that is possible as it is great to know that they set a very high standard of care over very many years & still are doing the same up to this very day

Good afternoon

Thank you so much for taking the time to share your experiences of using our district nursing service. As Head of Integrated Care & District Nursing it is lovely to hear this and to be able to share it directly with the team members concerned, especially as you say when you have being using the service over many years. To hear that our staff are friendly, caring and provide you with a very high standard of care is so reassuring.
