About: Telford referral and quality service (TRAQS)

(as the patient),

I was disappointed that Shrewsbury Hospital was chosen as my initial hospital when I live less than half a mile from Telford Hospital.

I may not have accepted a phone call from TRAQS as I did not know who they were - I may have thought it was just another salesman!

I apologise if this is the case.

Thank you for taking the time to provide feedback following your experience using TRAQS

TRAQS are a new service and all feedback we receive helps us to develop the service further for patients registered with GPs within the NHS Telford and Wrekin area.

If we are unable to contact the patient we will book the next available appointment to avoid delay for the patients treatment. Sometimes we are unable to offer appointments at the closest hospital due to a lack of appointments and if this is the case we will book an appointment at the next closest hospital.

If upon receipt of the appointment confirmation letter patients wish to be seen elsewhere they are free to call TRAQS and we will be happy to discuss other options and if possible rebook the appointment at the hospital the patient prefers.
