written on behalf of some of the patients on Coniston ward;
we want to praise the staff for how they have managed us (the patients) and the restrictions everyone (patients and staff) are currently experiencing. The situation has and continues to be difficult and we understand the reasons why things are as they currently are, but, it is becoming harder and harder for us not having any leave or visitors to the unit

Thank you for the feedback. Glad that you are able to understand the efforts from the staff. Leicester is under lock down due to increased COVID cases locally. Initially, we commenced the social visits but after one day we stopped it due to the local lock down. as soon as the local lock down is released, we will start the social visits and external leaves. in the mean time, we can facilitate as many virtual visits/ phone calls, ground leaves as possible. thank you for your understanding.
