(as a service user),

I am writing about excellent care I received during a recent admission to A & E department at NPH at the beginning of August 2020.

I presented with a gastric problem and was seen immediately by a very pleasant  and very professional Doctor Ravi and a team of excellent nurses. Blood tests were carried out immediately and the Doctor not only kept me reassured but fully informed as soon as the blood test results were received. Whilst nothing serious was found I was requested to attend the Ambulatory Unit the following day for final checks.

I was seen by a very pleasant and very professional Dr Freya who following further blood results carried out a most thorough investigation and examination. She explained everything to me and after reassuring me that there was no cause for concern discharged me. Nurses were also very pleasant and professional.

I would like to say a big thank you to all the staff for the excellent care and treatment I received.

Thank you very much for telling us the story of your treatment at both the A&E department and the Ambulatory Care unit at Northwick Park Hospital.

I was very pleased to learn that on both occasions you received great care from the clinical and the nursing staff. I will ensure your experience is shared with both of these teams as I know that the staff will greatly appreciate your kind words.
