After many years of renal failure I was referred to the Boston Dialysis center. Prior to my first visit I was contacted by the senior nurse via telephone and informed fully of the treatment I was to receive. I was then contacted by the units transport manager and arrangements for my collection and return were made and confirmed.
On first visit to the center I was made to feel very welcome by the nurse in charge who also introduced all other members of staff on duty. I was treated with the utmost respect and consideration and the actual dialysis went well.
I attended this clinic three days a week, four hours each session for 18 months and then received a kidney transplant by the staff at Leicester General Hospital.
I could not find any reason to complain about the care and treatment given by the staff, they always went out of their way to ensure my comfort and safety
This was in my opinion 5 star treatment and service all the way.
