"Welcoming staff at A&E"

About: University Hospital Wishaw / Emergency Department

(as a service user),

I was welcomed by a friendly receptionist (slim, glasses, shoulder length hair). She was very informative and helpful, you could see she really cared about the patients arriving which was so lovely to see. She told me exactly what to expect and was very helpful to everyone I saw attend the reception in my time there.

I waited to be seen and was taken through for triage and met a lovely nurse who was very friendly and informative. Explaining what could happen next. I felt at ease.

I was then seen by a doctor and she was fantastic, really helpful and friendly. Really put my mind at ease after having fallen down the stairs and bruised myself very badly and was in a lot of pain.

Every single member of staff I came across at A&E Wishaw General was a complete credit to the NHS, real & wholesome people who really cared about their jobs. Really amazing to see people so invested especially at such an awful time.

I cannot thank you enough for everything, I hope you all stay safe and well.

Thank you very much, I would be delighted if you could pass the positive feedback to the staff as there certainly isn’t enough positive feedback given in the world, especially in this trying time.

I am on the mend thanks to them all.

Take care.
