"Excellent care and kindness"

About: Musgrove Park Hospital / Paediatrics

(as a parent/guardian),

Our baby was 5 months of when taken to musgrove via an ambulance. He had various tests including one under general anaesthetic that I found very distressing. All staff from catering anaestics were kind and support all wishing us well. Obviously at the moment with covid things are a little different but we felt safe the whole time and whilst social distance was maintained they also treated us with compassion.

Treatment was swift and precise. Our sons new condition means we will be visiting this hospital a lot but I am happy that our care will continue to be as excellent as we have experience this time.

Dear Elijahsmum1988

Thank you for taking time to write this when clearly you have had a very stressful time.

Being compassionate is as important to us as the medical side of your stay

I'm glad we got it right despite of Covid, feeling safe when you are with us is really essential in developing our relationship.

I'm sorry you have diagnosis that means you will need to visit us regularly but we look forward to supporting and working with you in the future.

Please remember to keep feeding back to us positive or negative so our relationship with your family can grow and we can meet your needs and support you in this journey.

Best wishes

Louise
