"Wonderful care"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust - Queen's Medical Centre Campus / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

As I awoke at approx 7.00 am 12/07/20 I felt unwell, ie having difficulty in pronouncing my words. My wife phone for the ambulance which arrived in a matter of minutes.  The paramedics were just wonderful.  they immediately carried out medical checks and in a matter of minutes I was on my way to hospital QMC North.

On arrival at the hospital I again received wonderful care and attention from the hospital medics.  After the initial assessment I was promptly on my for a brain scan.  the diagnosis was that i had suffered a minor stroke.  I spent one night in hospital and discharged the next day approx. 4.00 pm.  I was prescribed medication which will be continued via my GP.

On 12th August 2020 I will have a tape recorder attached for 24 hours to monitor my heartbeat.

There is nothing I could fault regarding the care and service that i received from all the medical professionals that cared for me.

Many many thanks go to you all.
