I was met at the waiting area and taken through to the department by a very friendly and welcoming Alison. My details were thoroughly checked several times and I was given very comprehensive details of the forthcoming procedure. Everyone was very friendly whilst maintaining highly professional standards. Each step was explained in detail and I felt very relaxed and in safe hands, in fact I felt so relaxed I almost fell asleep during the procedure. The members of the team all introduced themselves and stated their role within the procedure. It was a very quick (and almost pain free) operation, performed by a team that worked well together. I cannot praise them highly enough for the service they delivered under the current covid 19 conditions, and I left hospital knowing that my health and safety, and also keeping themselves safe was the primary concern. It was altogether a very relaxed and enjoyable experience.
