"My recent Endoscopy appointment"

About: Pilgrim Hospital / Gastroenterology

(as a service user),

I wanted to say thank you to the team on my recent visit to the Endoscopy unit. I received a warm welcome. I had a waiting time of over an hour which I didn’t mind as I spent the time relaxing and when I was taken through for my procedure I have to say it wasn’t as bad as I thought. It was fascinating to see what goes on in my insides. I didn’t find it uncomfortable as a relaxed body is better than a tense one. I had good result that all was normal which I’m truly grateful for and it’s the result you focus on and the reason why you have these checks done and not the actual procedure itself. If you know what I mean. 

So anyone out there visiting the Endoscopy team remember a relaxed mind and body is all you need and a positive attitude too.

I am so very pleased that your experience with us was a positive one and that your test results were normal, that must have been a huge relief to you and I agree with you the inside of the body really is truly fascinating
