I went with my younger brother to my GP in June 2019 ;he referred him to PRU farnborough kent .The first visit to the  chartwell cancer unit results negative .I attended GP again with my brother this time GP had concerns on his deteriorating condition and sent us to A&E at PRU farnborough we arrived and checked in, after 45 minutes a nurse from the umbilical unit came to A&E and took us through to the unit .

My brother was seen by a doctor and a junior doctor; the senior doctor through out was laughing and joking with someone on the phone whilst the junior examined my brother after they asked for the junior Dr's diagnosis and said they agreed with it. I asked if it was his liver and was told no it’s his gall bladder. We attended the hospital again for an ultrasound and a CT scan on the same day .we were taken to see a doctor after the results were ready about 40 minutes later .The doctor sat down looked at my brother and said  you have multiple gall stone so many I can’t count them you gall bladder has to come out .I asked when and was told six months I said he couldn’t wait that long he was being sick and loosing weight along with abdominal pain .The next appointment was made for pm in November 2019 .

The day of the appointment a few hours before he was to come to mine he called he said help me I can’t see .I raced  to his house but he was taken to hospital where he passed away. The coroner called me and gave me cause of death but it wasn’t gallbladder. It turns out my brother did not have one gallstone in his body every organ was unremarkable.

What he did have was a chronic peptic ulcer which burst through a major artery and he bled to death at my feet. I have all written proof but I just do not want any human to go misdiagnosed and have a premature ending when a barium meal swallow x-ray could have been made available.

I wonder what would have happened in March 2020 when they would have removed a perfectly healthy gallbladder. What a waste ♥️
