"Made me feel embarrassed"

About: Lincoln County Hospital / Accident and emergency

(as the patient),

The person who treated me acted as if they couldn't be bothered. I was following advice from my GP, due to an ongoing problem. The staff member then told me that it was for accidents and emergencies and mine was neither and I was to go back to my GP. This person then came into A&E and in front of everyone announced my problem out loud - so much for privacy and confidentiality. They were plain rude and in my opinion had absolutely no people skills.

This made me feel embarrassed and quite upset as well as a little angry as this attitude was not brilliant at all, I knew what the problem was, I was just following advice from my GP as it could have been something very serious! I feel like I’m back at stage one now and still feeling ill nearly a month after this started!
