The practice website is not updated to reflect their closed status or how new patients may register. I called to inquire and unfortunately experienced a rather uncomfortable conversation with the receptionist who seemed irritated by my query. The receptionists advised me new patients can register on the website, when I replied that naturally I had investigated that and it was not the case, they told me "Well that's what I've been told". In concluding the conversation abruptly, I was advised to seek NHS assistance elsewhere. Quite unbelievable.

Thank you for posting your comments. Our website does not mention our closed status as we are open, and have been throughout the pandemic crisis.

Our registration form is posted on our website for patients to download and many patients have actually registered with us during the lockdown, several of these have now also had their new patient checks in practice.

I understand that you were rude and demanding to our receptionist - please note that we have, in common with all other NHS organisations, a zero tolerance policy regarding abuse of our staff. We are always happy to help with patient queries and provide advice and support but we assume that the courtesy we extend to patients will be met with a similar level of courtesy.
