I arrived via ambulance after having several falls at home with obvious contusions to my face, one eye was completely black from a previous injury and a large swelling to the other eye and cheek and several contusions to my head which were never examined.
I was left alone for a long time after being checked in and was in and out of consciousness and having back spasms. A doctor came in and saw me for 10 seconds to clear my neck then was left in obvious pain until a nurse came to take my blood which left me with profuse bleeding so they tried another site.
Again no recognition of my pain and obviously not one of the staff had read my chart as I have an undiagnosed neurological disorder which causes me to pass out and has done for the last 9 months which also gives me migraines and back spasms, I have had a falls alarm fitted at home so people are notified when I pass out and have suffered with subdural haematomas as a result of my falls.
I was left alone in pain for a long time and with my spasms increasing and still falling in and out of consciousness I fell out of bed. I have no idea how long I was on the floor for but the next thing I know I'm being berated and poked in the back by a shoe from one of the two rudest nurses I have ever had the misfortune to be treated by. I was not trusting those two with my care so I left, with them insulting me on the way out.
I got a taxi home and proceeded to fall again but there was no way that I will go back to A&E unless I am completely unconscious
