"98 year old mum ultrasound appointment."

About: Leeds General Infirmary / Radiology

(as a service user),

My mum is 98 and partially sighted and unable to walk. She had an appointment on Sunday for an ultrasound on Clarendon wing. The postcode on the Appointment letter is for George Street and so my sat nav took me there. There is only a staff car park there and where we needed to be was a 5- 10 minute walk away.

A porter was in the car park just going to start his break. He directed me to the car park I needed to drive to and decided he would come in the car with me, guided me there, got a chair for my mum and pushed her along to the ultra sound department - all whilst he should have been on his break. His name was Paul and I just want to thank him for his kindness and patience shown to me and my mum. This was excellent service going beyond expectations. Many thanks.
