"More questions than answers"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Gynaecology Services

(as the patient),

I had my phone call review appointment with gynaecology last week.

I answered the call to be told they were unsure why I had been referred by my GP as the procedure I had done at the end of the year was related to my appendix nothing gynae, my review was also not with the consultant who had seen me in hospital, who’s name I was unaware of as I was discharged under the care of the surgical ward, but who’s name I would like to know. I was due to be seen 4 weeks post discharge but wasn’t put on the review list so am only now being seen 7 months later. I ended the phone call with more questions than answers and extremely dissatisfied with the care I received.

Dear Purplegiraffe

I am sorry to hear that the phone call review you had with a gynaecologist was disappointing and left you feeling extremely dissatisfied.

If would like to contact me by e-mail I will endeavour to answer your questions which are unanswered.

Kind regards

Margaret
