(as a service user),

I lost my children due to my alcohol misuse on a temporary basis, it breaks my heart for putting them through this ordeal as it's not their fault and they do not understand why they can't be at their own home with their mummy. The group work and one-to-one sessions are good.

Hi there

Thank you for sharing some of your story so honestly. You show care and understanding of how your family has been impacted which is never easy to acknowledge or talk about. Sometimes we need to take the time to look after ourselves in order to look after others and I am glad you are finding the one to ones and groupwork helpful in doing this.

I wish you well with your recovery and once again thank you for taking time to say how you are finding things. As we are now working remotely if you have any thoughts or ideas on what could improve or add to the support we are giving please let us know as this is a real learning period for us.
