During a scan of kidneys, a shadow was spotted on the lung.

This was passed to the lung specialists including McMillan nurses.

Thereafter followed a series of scans and a biopsy to diagnose whether cancer was present.

Throughout this time, we were kept informed every step of the way through online meetings, phone calls and letters.

The speed of appointments and results were fantastic.

In particular Gillian at Ninewells Hospital was fantastic, explaining everything clearly and concisely and being there for us every step of the way.

Regardless of the fact that this occured during the COVID-19 pandemic, we could not have received better service.
