"AMRA care"

About: Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust

(as a service user),

Following a referral from my GP I had to attend AMRA to rule out the possibility of having a PE.

I have a 10 week old little boy at home and this was the longest I had been away from him for.

The staff on the ward were fantastic and did everything they could to get me home to my little boy as quickly as I could while still making sure sufficient investigations were done.

Thank you to the nurses who looked after me and did everything they could to get me home quickly, Aisha, Megan and Zenia. And thank you to Dr Toor and Timothy for getting me home quickly but not compromising on care to do this.

Thank you for this very kind feedback for the staff in our Acute Medicine Receiving Area. I’m so pleased to hear that they did everything they could to treat you and to get you back home to your little boy as quickly and safely as possible. I have shared your feedback with the team and the staff members you mentioned in your comment.

We all hope you are feeling better and wish you all the best.

Kind regards

Alison Haywood
Ward Manager, AMRA - Acute Medicine Receiving Area
