"A fantastic service"

About: Aberdeen Royal Infirmary / Ophthalmology (Eye Problems)

(as the patient),

I was referred to the ophthalmology department from my optician and was seen very quickly within a few days. 

I found the service to be quick and efficient and all members of the team were polite and kind.

I was particularly concerned that my eye condition may have been quite serious, as a doctor myself I was aware of the possible complications. I initially met Mr Pitwari who took the time to go through my concerns and was happy to discuss more detailed information which hugely reassured me. 

I had to have a CT scan and appreciated that Mr Pitwari called me as soon as he had the result available as he knew I was worried. Again this was so appreciated.

On a follow up appointment I met with another registrar whose name Im afraid I did not get. He also was very kind to give thorough explanations and did additional tests to ensure he was happy with the diagnosis. 

I would like to thank the team in the Ophthalmology clinic for a fantastic service and for all being so kind and helpful.
