"Absurd rules that make getting help as difficult…"

I have a serious hip issue having had dysplasia (dislocated hips) since birth and surgery. I am now struggling to walk and have been refused a consultation with an MSK GP to review my treatment which was requested by my GP. MSK Circle refused to give me a telephone consultation until my APOS Therapy is finished - despite knowing this will be 2-3 years time. Their rule that you can only have one therapy at a time and will not even allow me to have a phone consultation without ending my 2-3 year APOS Therapy first. This approach makes no sense at all for many conditions with reams of clinical evidence to demonstrate coordinating therapies delivers much better results and therapies that will take years. It is totally inappropriate to refuse access to even a phone consultation for 3 years while I am on APOS!

My GP Practice are not able to access any help except through Circle MSK which is both outrageous and ridiculous.

I am becoming immobile and in pain with a condition I have had since birth, I am only able to speak to a receptionist for MSK Circle.

This service is hands down the absolute worst experience of the NHS in my life.

This service's approach to only one therapy at a time is inappropriate for many conditions and should be scrapped. This rule is presumably to save money, but the costs to the NHS will be much greater as the impact on my wider health is significant because I am now unable to walk very far.

The Circle MSK service is utterly appalling and I question that there is any adherence to the Hippocratic Oath as their approach is actively causing damage.

This service has been utterly useless at helping whilst I have deteriorated. The impact on my life is immense. I am struggling to walk now. I am stopped in the street by people who ask me if I need a cane. I struggle to drive. I struggle to walk up and down stairs now. I am a single parent with two teenage children and an elderly father with dementia who all depend on me but am not able to access even a conversation with a specialist GP and I am only 54!

PS The APOS Therapy is actually brilliant and absolutely recommend that and the Ampthill physios that deliver it - please ask for it for ankles, hips and knee injuries.
