"Home peritoneal dialysis."

About: Queen Elizabeth University Hospital Glasgow / Renal Outpatients

(as the patient),

I started home dialysis 2yrs ago after losing a kidney to cancer and the other one failing slowly till now only about  20 %. I am now doing well on therapy.

I would like to let you know of the exceptional attention, help and reassurance I have had from my renal clinic at the QEUH Glasgow. The Doctors and nurses come to Forth Valley Hospital Larbert to see patients in this area. At other times they are only a phone call away, and if the clinic is closed I can phone the ward for help. The company who send my medication is also available 24/7, and I have never had to go to bed worried about my overnight therapy.

During this pandemic I have had regular phone calls checking how i am and keeping me up to date with any developments which might affect me.

This also applies the podiatry dept covering Forth Valley.

Taking all into consideration I believe I have had very good attention from all departments, And would like you to thank them on my behalf.

Yours,
