"Left upset and without medication "

About: Tudor Medical Centre

I'm immune suppressant and shielding I take many different medications and have had a few changes recently because of this I accidentally ran out of one of my medications, I called the surgery to ask for help and was told I could try and email a request, I told the receptionist I already needed to speak to the doctor so I would ask him during my phone consultation, she then told me I cant do that . As I needed one of the medications changing to a different dose so I couldn't see the problem, later that day I got the call from the doctor and at the end when he told me he was going to send a prescription for the new meds I asked him if he could send my other medication at the same time, he then said very sharply that it was inappropriate for me to ask him to do this and I should have done what the receptionist had asked me to do and email, it was then clear to me that they had been talking about me prior to his consultation, I was left very upset and without my medication as it was then too late for the pharmacy to deliver my prescription. This means I will go without my heart medication.

In the 6 years I have been with the surgery I have never needed an emergency prescription but have been sent wrong medication/ missing medication on occasions. I can usually order and collect my own medication but due to covid I need help but left upset and worried without my medication.
