About: University Hospital Monklands / General Medicine (Wards 2,10,12 and 17)

(as a relative),

Our family would like to thank, staff in ward 12 monklands for the care given to our mum. She was an inpatient in May and her care was exceptional, special thanks to staff nurse Samantha, during these difficult times we never felt we were left out of mums care, it's hard on families who are used to being with their loved ones to be apart however we were kept informed of all aspects of mums care.

Thank you so much for your kind posting on Care Opinion. I am delighted to hear that the care delivered to your mum was exceptional. This is the care we strive to deliver to all our patients and to get such positive feedback will be a real boost to the ward team.

As you say this is a difficult time for staff, patients and families and I am glad that you still felt part of your mum's care. As the Senior Nurse for ward 12, I will ensure your lovely post is shared with the team and Samantha.
