I was admitted to ward 15 in May 2020 for Prostate Cancer Surgery. I had received treatment previously from my consultant (Mr N Smith) when I had kidney stones. So I felt positive about his surgery skills and after care.
After my hospital discharge I had to make three trips back to ward 15 because of complications with a catheter. Again, all members of the team were superb and dealt with my problem promptly.
Ward 15 is a great ward with a caring and very professional team. Thank you everyone for the excellent care I received.
Staff skills
Everything went very well. I was in ward 15 for two nights. Every member of the team was absolutely fantastic. I couldn't have wished for better care. There were only two of us in our section of the ward and we rated the care we received Platinum Star (with 7 stars).
