What I liked
the unit was small and quiet,.
What could be improved
following assessment by my own Midwife I was made an appointment at the antenatal day unit for the following day as I am suffering with a large ammount of pelvic pain. When I arrived at the antenatal day unit at my appointment time there was no members of staff within the unit so I had to walk further on down the corridor ( causing me more pain) to find someone. The midwife in charge came out of an officve and asked me why I was there as there was nothing that they could do for me. whilst she was assessing my symptoms she asked if I had had this pain in my previous pregnancy and then when I had replied that I had had mild pain towards the end of that pregnancy, she asked me why I had decided to have another child as the pain will only get worse and did I not consider that before getting pregnant, This comment offended me as It is my choice how many children I have and she should treat me in a professional manner no matter what her opinion is.
