"My mother's care at Glasgow Royal Infirmary"

About: Glasgow Royal Infirmary / Renal Dialysis

(as a relative),

My mother experienced kidney problems due to, on several occassions, a UTI being misdiagnosed. Now she needs frequent iv fluids, and they are encouraging me to put my mother into care.

In hospital she has had falls, blood levels dropping dramactically, she was in hypo, lost a terrible amount of weight. She has never come to harm in my care. I think it is shocking.

I feel alone and let down. I believe certain doctors have made poor judgement calls. These people you're treating are people's loved ones guys.

You raised a number of issues that are of concern and we would like to follow these up if we are can. In order to do so, can you please provide further details and send these to complaints@ggc.scot.nhs.uk and we will address these for you.
