I attended the emergency department on the night of the 12th June 2020 after having something in my eye for a while and my GP told me to go. I'm super anxious, especially with doctors, and this was my first time as a hospital patient.
I'd like a message passed on because the reception staff, the junior doctor and the senior doctor who saw me in the eye room, as well as the nurse at triage were amazing. So kind, friendly and professional. I felt completely at ease, even with someone poking in my eye! I don't know their names but I hope this reaches them. They're doing an amazing job in such stressful circumstances. I can't thank them enough.
