"Support during the Covid-19 pandemic"

About: Dirrans Centre (including rehab)

(as a staff member posting for a patient/service user),

Happy with the visits, the phone calls, online chats with others, advice with exercising and just everything.

This has made a difference to me and I feel connected with others.

I was supported to get out into the community and get to walk to keep my mobility going and I feel much better for this.

It has really benefited me to get to see other people, get out of the house and feel less isolated.

Dear strut my stuff,

I am delighted to hear that you are happy with the support we have provided during the Covid-19 pandemic.

This has been a very difficult time for everyone and even more difficult for people isolated at home alone.

All the staff have enjoyed working differently to help people deal with loneliness and the fears the pandemic has raised. By using exercise, getting out into the community, chatting to friends etc you begin to feel more connected and less anxious about what is going on.

We will continue to support you at home until we are able to see you again at the centre.

Many thanks for your kind words, stay safe, see you soon!

Kind regards

Nanette
